Role Overview

The Senior Data Analyst role is crucial for providing insights and reporting that influence the strategy and development of our subscription products, Packt+. This position involves close collaboration with product managers to deeply analyze customer data across multiple touchpoints of our subscription service, ensuring optimal engagement and retention. You will report directly to the Managing Director of Packt+ and play a key role in steering Packt's data-driven product development for tech professionals.

Main Responsibilities

• Analyze customer behavior and provide actionable insights through clear and concise reporting.
• Optimize acquisition campaigns for better market penetration, conversion rates, and customer involvement.
• Proactively manage and innovate on reporting processes, translating complex data sets into understandable dashboards.

Skills and Qualifications

• Predictive Analytics and Modelling: Proficient in Python for data manipulation and analysis, along with strong Excel skills.
• Strategic Mindset: Ability to comprehend and improve business metrics and ROI through innovative solutions.
• Customer-Centric: Focused approach to understanding and addressing customer needs and enhancing customer experience.
• Effective Communication: Capable of delivering complex information in a simplified and impactful manner.
• Collaboration: Experience working cross-functionally to drive results and support change across the organization.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with SQL and graph databases.
• Familiarity with automation tools and Google Analytics.
• Insights into social networks, landscape, tools, and automation of decision-making processes.
• Academic background in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or Physics.
