Role Overview

This role focuses on data analysis, negotiation, documentation, and coordination of fronting agreements. Ideal for highly technical and organized individuals. This is a fixed-term contract position.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a new data reporting suite to support commercial business decisions for fronted business.
• Take ownership of reporting requirements with the fronting partner, including managing data file transfers with automated IT feeds.
• Act as the technical lead in negotiating commercial terms and conditions with potential new fronting partners, in collaboration with Business Solutions and Legal teams.
• Design processes to ensure all agreed terms and conditions are promptly shared with relevant departments.
• Serve as the central point of contact for the business regarding all fronted agreements.
• Conduct annual renegotiations of commercial terms and conditions with existing fronting partners and captive contracts to ensure competitiveness and optimal premium rates for Allianz customers.
• Identify key commercial risks, develop corresponding controls, and monitor these risks and controls continuously.
• Trigger commercial audits and review processes and procedures following the identification of issues.
• Develop and maintain robust processes to ensure contractually agreed prices are integrated into premium rates and correctly transferred to Finance for payment, including number reconciliations.
• Manage compliance with group governance requirements for fronted contracts (inwards reinsurance) and captive contracts (outwards reinsurance).
• Handle any other fronting-related topics as necessary.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you should possess most of the following skills and experience:

• Experience leading data and reporting transformation within insurance companies.
• Proficient in SQL and Power BI.
• Experience working in a large, complex global financial services organization.
• International work experience.
• Degree and/or professional qualification with a technical background (e.g., Mathematics).
• Strong knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent numerical skills.
