Join the Swift Group as a Senior Data Analyst

Location: McLean, VA (Onsite)

The Swift Group is actively seeking a talented and experienced Senior Data Analyst to bring industry best practices to our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets and delivering actionable insights while collaborating with data scientists, analysts, project managers, engineers, and various other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply industry best practices for data analysis over complex data sets.
• Assess data sets and provide recommendations for enhancements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists, analysts, project managers, and engineers.
• Engage with customers and leadership to implement tasks and deliverables that meet project schedules, priorities, and standards.
• Provide technical consultation, coordination of meetings, and support, including Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs) and preparation/support of technical briefings.
• Contribute to the writing and updating of technical documentation.

Required Qualifications:

• 16+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in using Excel and Python for complex data analytics.
• Strong understanding of database methodologies, including SQL or Elasticsearch.
• Experience analyzing large and small data sets for trends and patterns.
• Ability to produce clear informational products explaining findings for a variety of audiences.
• Exceptional data analytics skills, including detailed data analysis and metric generation.
• Strong briefing and writing skills.
• BA/BS Degree or five years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience supporting the technical process of vetting requests for analytical comparison against organizational data holdings.
• Ability to translate user needs into appropriate methods and measures to provide data insights.
• Experience with data visualization and data validation routines.
• Ability to convey technical information to non-technical individuals.
• MA/MS Degree.
