Supported by some of the globe's premier venture capital investors, we are undertaking a bold mission to integrate and simplify all aspects of the dental practice through technology. By creating the operating system for every dental office in America, Dandy is equipping dentists with technology, innovation, and top-tier support to accomplish more for their practice, their staff, and their patients.
About the Role
We're seeking seasoned senior data analysts capable of addressing some of our most critical analytics challenges relating to our manufacturing operations. Our Digital Design Center (DDC) and manufacturing team are integral to Dandy's dental operations, managing crucial areas such as designer workforce management, product feature enhancements for superior quality, and optimal capacity/utilization. In this dynamic, multi-functional role, you will independently leverage data analysis to derive recommendations that position Dandy as the leading dental lab in the business.

Establish the data lingo (i.e. KPIs, dashboards, measurement, etc) to ensure your team understands the underlying facts driving progress and success
Enable swift decision-making through ad hoc tasks or by democratizing data/self-service (efficient BI or user-friendly explorations in Looker in conjunction with our analytics engineers)
Apply your data expertise to minimize ambiguity and solve issues
Mentor other analysts and assist them in their professional growth
What We're Looking For
4+ years of experience in operations, people, or manufacturing analytics or data science, preferably in a B2B environment
A BA/BS degree in a quantitative subject such as mathematics, statistics, engineering or a BA/BS in a behavioral science (economics, psychology, etc) with statistical aptitude
Exceptional SQL abilities
Proficient scripting Python skills
Effective communication skills and experience of delivering findings in a manner that effects change. You can harness data to inform, align, and lead
Robust sense of autonomy and responsibility
Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and statistical abilities
Bonus Points For
Practical experience in workforce analytics, especially with organizations managing extensive international teams
Interest in working and expanding your knowledge in an early-stage company where some basics are still being developed
Experience with capacity planning and modeling
Significant customer empathy, especially towards dentists
Experience with Looker, Hex, and DBT
