About the Role:

As a Senior Marketing Analyst, you will report to the Senior Manager for Marketing Analytics. You will be responsible for analytical decisions for Remitly's dedicated marketing channels, specifically SEO and ASO. This involves campaign design, measurement and optimization for the channel, directly contributing to customer acquisition. Your expertise in designing A/B tests and evaluating across marketing channels will be valuable. As a thought-partner and mentor to analysts and marketers, you will lead the development and management of data and reporting tools, defining critical KPIs, tracking and monitoring metrics, and identifying insights.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Continually analyze and optimize campaigns using a specific set of KPIs for our owned marketing channels, primarily SEO and ASO.
  • Create measurement plans based on strategic imperatives, communication goals, and media strategies
  • Identify and interpret key drivers behind marketing and media performance proactively, delivering insights to channel owners to enhance the efficiency of spend and media performance aligned with our objectives
  • Design and implement reporting dashboards that monitor vital metrics and performance trends, providing actionable insights to marketing leadership.
  • Take the lead in streamlining our data stack and improving or maintaining the quality and reliability of our owned marketing channels data, including data ingested from third-party partners.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to design tests and perform analysis that generate actionable insights.

Your Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in A/B testing, digital marketing analytics, comfortable with basic statistical techniques (including causal inference and regression analysis).
  • Expertise in SEO and ASO and knowledge of tools/APIs like Amplitude, Google Analytics, and Lighthouse
  • Proficient in representing complex information in easily understood visualizations (including Tableau, Excel (ability to perform complex functions)).
  • 7+ years experience with SQL, R or Python, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Periscope).
  • Experience in building regular reports/dashboards to measure channel performance, supporting decisions on P&L management, identifying opportunities and performance trends while helping analyze metric trends
  • Experience in managing stakeholders, communicating with executives, channel owners, partners, and contributing to projects and meetings
  • Quantitative, and analytic skills; comfortable with data analysis and influencing decision-making
  • Proactive: willing to build the first prototype, and constantly improving based on learnings.
