What You'll Be Doing

  • Empowering our team with actionable insights to enhance user acquisition, engagement, retention, and monetization
  • Analyzing business trends and identifying key drivers
  • Formulating and validating hypotheses related to business drivers and collaborating with the marketing team as a proactive partner
  • Sharing findings, insights, and recommendations across the organization, including executive stakeholders
  • Standardizing reporting metrics based on business objectives
  • Monitoring KPIs, identifying performance improvements, and keeping the team updated on progress
  • Working with the lifecycle team to develop experiment test plans and readout results to drive user engagement, focusing on email, push notifications, and in-app messaging
  • Identifying and addressing technical and strategic gaps in our analytics infrastructure with best-in-class solutions
  • Developing an attribution strategy including MMM and MTA

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in statistical or data analysis for B2C teams
  • Experience with digital marketing analytics
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Proficiency in creating, maintaining, and supporting data visualizations and interactive dashboards using tools like Looker
  • Understanding and excitement for building optimized tables and views in Data Warehouses/Marts
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with UTM tracking and attribution approaches
  • Experimentation experience
  • Expert communication skills, including persuasion and inspiration, simplifying complex concepts, and proactive knowledge sharing

Bonus Points

  • Experience with Google Analytics
  • Experience with Braze or similar tools
  • Experience with analytics platforms like Amplitude or MixPanel
  • Experience with modern Data Warehouses such as BigQuery, Redshift, or Snowflake
  • Experience with transformation tools such as dbt or Dataform
