About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst who lives and breathes data! If you see beyond numbers and are inspired to investigate, piece together information from multiple sources, and uncover insights to create a complete picture, this role is for you. As a Sr. Data Analyst, you will provide technical leadership to peer team members and partner with product, engineering, and business leadership to deliver valuable insights into goals, creating tools and analyzing our data. You will operate within the BI team, communicating with many teams in the organization to understand needs, capture requirements, monitor performance, funnels, pain points, and come up with actionable recommendations. You will report to Product leadership in Seattle and work closely with BI leadership in TLV. This position is #LI-Hybrid and requires between 2-3 days in the offices in Seattle.

You Will

  • Analyze complex and large datasets to provide analytical support and generate customer and financial insights across multiple business areas.
  • Lead within the analytics team, influencing the immediate team's roadmap and the overall analytics craft.
  • Translate business requirements into instrumentation requirements, working alongside Product, Data Engineering, and other stakeholders to deliver projects.
  • Work with Data Engineering to design and implement SQL pipelines end-to-end that efficiently create the output tables needed for analysis.
  • Create and optimize BI platforms, dashboards, and ad-hoc analysis, leading efforts to close gaps in data coverage and create new ways to visualize and understand datasets.

You Have

  • 5+ years of post-collegiate Data & Analytics experience.
  • FinTech and/or consumer software industry experience working on complex data projects through the full consumer software/mobile app lifecycle.
  • Experience managing cross-product/program and economic complexity with the ability to select and deploy the appropriate method that balances risk, speed, and complexity.
  • Knowledge to spark the curiosity of others and lead by example through difficult situations with high uncertainty.
  • Ability to clearly relay findings to both technical and non-technical audiences, adapting communication approach to drive action and results.
  • Expert knowledge in statistics (regression, distribution, AB testing), SQL, Python and/or R coding skills for analysis, and experience working with Tableau.
  • B.Sc in Industry & Management, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or equivalent.

Compensation Details

The starting base salary range for this position is typically $128,000-$160,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company, and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
