As a Senior Data Analyst, you'll be responsible for enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty on our online shop and payment gateway by analysing customer behavioural data, purchase tendencies, and CRM lifecycles. You'll provide in-depth insights on customer engagement, preferences, and tendencies - assisting our Product and Growth teams in expanding our shop and payment gateway as the go-to brands in Africa. Being a senior analyst in our Data organization, you'll collaborate closely with our VP of Data in developing frameworks for scaling platform analytics as our products and partners increase. Requirements Your duties will encompass: - Unveiling insights in customer behaviour and tendencies to inform content and design of our shop - Designing and analysing tracking events for our shop and payment gateway to reveal patterns, frictions, and bugs - Deeply comprehending customer lifecycles and tendencies to develop CRM models - Collaborating with Product and Growth stakeholders and taking the technical lead in designing experiments that help evolve user experience and marketing strategies - Recommending Growth on feedback loops to optimize user acquisition via LTV segmentations - Creating behavioural and value segmentations that drive deeper thinking about our unit economics - Storing general customer insights to drive Carry1st’s strategic direction via new business models What makes you a desirable candidate? - Degree in Economics, Physics, Statistics, Complex Systems or similar - Minimum 3 years of experience in e-commerce and/or fintech analytics - Sound mathematical and statistical acumen - Proficient SQL skills and practical analytics/data science experience with Python - Hands-on experience with a visualization tool, preferably Tableau - Substantial experience with Google Analytics (preferably GA4) and Big Query - Strong analytical and problems solving skills as a foundation for adaptability in an ambiguous and agile environment of diverse backgrounds - Ability to effectively communicate intricate insights and hypotheses to business stakeholders Benefits What will the work with Carry1st be like?
