We are seeking a seasoned Senior Data Analyst with substantial experience in product analytics to join our expanding Data Analytics team. As a senior contributor, you will autonomously and proactively work with teams across our PFM (personal financial management) product group. Your role involves analyzing new user experiences, understanding the drivers of engagement and retention, and crafting strategies that foster growth.

ABOUT THE ROLE 🤹

In this role, you will:

• Strengthen the relationship between the Data team and specific PMs within the PFM product group. Develop a thorough understanding of product goals and create a data-driven plan to achieve them.
• Be the specialist on the new user journey, analyzing engagement and retention data to identify trends and provide actionable insights. Your recommendations will optimize product offerings and enhance customer experiences.
• Collaborate on projects with Analytics Engineering and Data Science to ensure accurate and timely data availability and make predictive analyses when necessary.
• Handle both strategic data questions and hands-on process building. Maintain and improve the processes and systems you develop.
• Translate complex analytical findings into clear reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders at all levels.
• Enhance our culture of experimentation by guiding PMs in experiment design and analysis. Innovate our experimentation systems and processes across the company.
• Maintain a focus on feedback, both giving and receiving, to continuously improve team performance.

ABOUT YOU 🦄

You possess:

• 6+ years of experience in analytics, with progressively complex roles and senior responsibilities.
• Experience building roadmaps in a cross-functional setting and leading relationships with non-data counterparts.
• Expertise at B2C tech companies, particularly in user engagement, journey flows, and retention analytics.
• Solid understanding of experimental design and statistics, with the ability to apply this in A/B test analysis.
• Comfort working with event-captured or tabulated data.
• Strong SQL skills for quick analyses or proof of concept data models.
• Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex analytics to non-technical stakeholders and senior executives.

Bonus points for:

• Experience with our tech stack (BigQuery/GCP, Fivetran, Looker, Amplitude).
• Proficiency in Python or R for statistical analysis.

Additional information: The salary range is $125,000 - $150,000 plus bonus and benefits. Base pay may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
