As an integral part of Wayfair's dynamic, international team in the EU Promotions department, you'll be driving force behind effective marketing strategies, collaborative project management, and substantial revenue growth. The Promo Product Analytics team plays a critical role in refining global curation algorithms, enhancing tooling, improving reporting capabilities, automating processes, providing technical support, and conducting comprehensive analysis to refine our promotional strategies.

What You’ll Do

  • Take ownership of the data layers and ranking logic of our product curation algorithms, encompassing everything from monitoring current scripts to designing a robust A/B testing strategy for the EU market.
  • Directly manage a junior analyst, prioritizing your team's roadmap and facilitating professional development.
  • Create advanced reporting tools and dashboards for the promotions and marketing department, leveraging tools like BigQuery, Looker ML, DataStudio, and Google Sheets.
  • Work closely with leadership and tech teams across European departments to implement projects and measure their success.
  • Act as the subject matter expert in data analytics and testing within your team, guiding the interpretation of business metrics and consumer behaviours.

What You'll Need

  • A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as math, sciences, engineering, economics, or business with a focus on analytics. A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a data or business analyst is required (4+ years if degree not attained).
  • Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with data visualization software like Google Data Studio, Tableau, or PowerBI. Experience with Looker ML is advantageous.
  • Strong quantitative skills with a knack for deriving meaningful insights from large datasets.
  • Robust business acumen, a result-oriented approach, and an ownership mindset suitable for a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Outstanding communication skills in English; knowledge of German is not necessary.
  • Previous experience in the retail or ecommerce sector is a plus.
