About the Role

The Customer Tax Transparency (CTT) team at ANZ is essential for ensuring our compliance with various tax and compliance reporting requirements under laws like the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) and the Common Reporting Standard (CRS). As a Senior Business Analyst in this competent team, you will play a pivotal role in business analysis, engaging with stakeholders to synthesize information and drive business solutions.

What Will Your Day Look Like?

Your daily responsibilities include:

• Timely completion of business analysis tasks in collaboration with other teams.
• Leading the requirements gathering and designing business processes for strategic initiatives.
• Working closely with the Change Management Team to ensure smooth transitions to business as usual (BAU).
• Following ANZ policies strictly while actively managing and mitigating risks.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Guiding and mentoring junior Business Analysts and promoting a positive team culture aligned with ANZ's values.

Preferred Skills and Experiences

To be successful in this role, you should bring:

• Strong expertise in business analysis and proficiency in documenting business requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience in driving changes in business processes and preparing teams for new implementations.
• Demonstrated leadership in dynamic and agile settings.
• Proficient analytical skills with the ability to provide strategic recommendations.
• Experience in compliance-related projects, especially in FATCA, CRS, AML (Anti-Money Laundering), or KYC (Know Your Customer) is highly valued.
