The Role

Join our dynamic Data and Analytics team as a Senior Data Analyst. In this role, you'll leverage your analytic and technical skills to build, maintain, and innovate data solutions that tackle business challenges. As part of Capital One Software, a division focused on technology products for enterprise-scale customers, you'll help propel our portfolio of offerings to new heights.

Responsibilities

Analysis

Identify business challenges and opportunities for improvement, providing strategic or tactical recommendations through detailed analysis.

Strategic & Analytic Orientation

Demonstrate a proven track record of decision-making and problem-solving based on data analytics. Strong conceptual thinking must be paired with solid quantitative skills.

Frame problems, develop hypotheses, test and analyze solutions, and lead implementation efforts alongside monitoring plans.

Partnership

Work closely with colleagues across various departments including Go-to-Market, Product, Technology, Operations, Finance, and Risk teams.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with at least 5 years of experience in data analytics, or a Master’s Degree.
• At least 1 year of experience in a scripting language.
• At least 1 year using business intelligence visualization tools.
• At least 1 year of querying and analyzing data with various platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in a STEM discipline.
• 2 years coding experience in Python, R, Spark, or SQL.
• 2 years of experience in Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, or other process management methodologies.
• 1 year utilizing and developing within AWS services.
• 1 year of knowledge in data governance and data quality management concepts.

Compensation and Benefits

Annual Salary:

• Remote (Regardless of Location): $97,200 - $110,900 for Sr. Data Analyst
