Role Overview

As a Senior Data Analyst at Simpluris, you will:

• Analyze complex problems and identify clear paths to solutions.
• Work closely with our project management team to interpret and develop project data requirements.
• Utilize tools like Python, Excel, and SQL to cleanse, transform, and perform calculations against various data sources.
• Understand and meet client needs by viewing problems from multiple angles.

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
• Experience with SQL (e.g., SELECT, JOIN) or Python (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
• Strong communication skills to convey data issues effectively to non-technical users.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Performing data cleansing, de-duplication, merging, calculation, and analysis.
• Developing project data and calculation requirements.
• Improving processes and workflows to enhance efficiency.
• Interfacing directly with internal and external staff and clients to resolve data-related issues.

Skillsets Required

We're looking for candidates with:

• Solid critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with knowledge of advanced functions like VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
• Experience with SQL, Python, or similar programming languages.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and reporting tools (e.g., SSRS, PowerBI).
• Educational background in IT/MIS, accounting, math, or similar programs.
