Category Management

We take the responsibility for strategic purchasing and global steering of the purchasing category supply chain services such as logistic services overland transportation, air- and sea transportation, warehouse services and packaging as well as for all other indirect supply chain demands on a global level within the Bosch Group.

Job Description

► Identify, design and implement internal process improvements

► Automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery

► Keep existing data sources updated to ensure data quality

► Design, develop and maintain data quality assurance framework

► Conduct data analysis and provide data supporting category experts throughout the Source to Contract (S2C) process (including contract lifecycle management, market analysis, preparation and execution of tenders)

► Develop KPI dashboards to steer Business performance

► Support Buyers (Order management in SAP, contract maintenance, updates, setup of RFI, RFQ, CoQ)

Qualifications

► University degree

► Professional experience in data engineering or related roles

► Business fluent English, German would be advantageous

► Understanding and knowledge of the supply chain area of purchasing and logistics 

► Ability to identify issues, develop solutions and drive results

► Proficient in data analysis and Microsoft Office

► Intercultural competencies

► Knowledge in VBA and PowerBI is beneficial

► Experience in generating and maintaining data pipelines from various data sources

► Experience in business intelligence and/or data analytics
