We have an immediate requirement for a Data Analyst who will be responsible for Data Analytics, Reporting, and Dashboard/Data Visualization Management in our rapidly growing organization. Our cloud platform offers registration services that capture company and messaging campaign information, with high demands for quality control, availability, and information security. It is vital that the Data Analyst is highly analytical and agile, with a passion for success and the ability to bring business acumen to the role. Despite being part of a large, global enterprise, we are a very fast-paced company with a startup culture. The ideal candidate will be ambitious and ready to take on responsibility in a highly demanding environment. Responsibilities: • Assume responsibility for company data assets, ensuring quality, consistency and correct interpretation across the organization. • Maintain accurate definitions of all company data assets. • Manage the design, development, and delivery of reports, dashboards, and insights that analyze business functions and key operations and performance metrics. • Oversee and optimize processes for data capture, validation, and mining, as well as modeling, visualization, and communication deliverables. • Oversee the data/report requests process, including prioritization and tracking. • Define, develop, and implement a wide range of operational procedures for delivering ad-hoc and scheduled reports. • Confirm the accuracy of data and deliverables of reporting for internal and external customers. • Maintain a secure environment, in line with company policies and procedures. Requirements: • A BSc in Data Science, Data Analytics, or Business Analytics. • A minimum of 3 years, preferably 5 years of experience as a Data or Business Analyst, with hands-on experience and a deep understanding of Tableau (preferred) and/or Microsoft BI. • Strong knowledge of data mining principles including data collection and mapping from various data systems on premises and cloud-based data sources. • Proven ability to produce high-quality output, including effective visuals. • Understanding of best practices of current tools in Data Reporting and Data Visualization. • SQL skills, and the ability to perform effective queries involving multiple tables and subqueries. • Experience with standard security practices for storing and exchanging business information. • Strong problem-solving, quantitative, and analytical skills. • Good communication skills, both verbal and written. • Experience with data processing languages such as Python, R. • Experience with Database Technologies such as MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle • Ability to work independently in a small, high-energy, fast-paced start-up environment.
