About This Role

Located in San Francisco or New York, this pivotal role supports the data needs of the Trust & Safety teams which include Content Safety, Account Integrity, and Fraud—all foundational to Patreon's operations. Candidates will be instrumental in influencing team roadmaps through detailed analysis, supporting critical workflows, and playing a key role during emergent situations. This position requires a presence in the office two days per week in a hybrid working arrangement.

Who You Are

The ideal candidate will have:

• A minimum of 5 years in data analytics or data science.
• At least 2 years of experience specifically in Trust & Safety domains (e.g., Content Safety, Fraud, Account Integrity).
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python/R for robust data analysis.
• An impeccable eye for detail and a familiarity with data sets to identify nuances and potential issues.
• A curious nature, eager to understand the intricate operations of cross-functional teams to enhance partnership effectiveness.
• A commitment to quality, a growth mindset, and excellent communication skills, valuing clarity and simplicity.
