Job Description

We have an outstanding opportunity for a dynamic and gifted Senior Web Analyst / Data Analyst to join our London office.

The Senior Web Analyst / Data Analyst will be a crucial member of the Data and Planning Team. They will analyze media and social data generated by marketing activities, recognizing trends and offering actionable insights to enhance performance. They will be in charge of tracking and understanding the performance of campaigns using fractional attribution. They will actively build strong working relationships with internal contacts to support and educate the agency on how mathematical concepts can enhance marketing effectiveness.

Responsibilities 

• Design well-managed data solutions, tools, and capabilities to facilitate self-service systems for data consumers
• Cooperate with the business to provide consultancy and translate business requirements into the designing and development of tools, techniques, metrics, and dashboards for data perception and visualization
• Coach and guide junior personnel and ensure they carry out their tasks efficiently
• Responsible for identifying and communicating within and between departments to address data gaps that disrupt the fulfillment of the business's functional needs
• Take charge of recording analytics projects and making sure that specific analytical processes are replicable and can be upscaled to other clients if needed
• Responsible for the delivery of robust mathematical analysis, which includes but is not limited to, creating, validating, and maintaining statistical models
• Responsible for the generation of reports, studies, presentations, pitches, project scoping, and proposals according to Jellyfish brand guidelines
• Achieve continuous improvement by proactively evaluating Jellyfish's working relationships, practices, and methods
• Demonstrate measurable success through the achievement of analysis which has contributed to an enhancement in client performance or an improvement in agency efficiency

Qualifications

Knowledge & Experience Requirements

• Degree in a discipline related to Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics
• Data analysis experience with the skill to identify causations and correlations within multiple datasets
• Exceptional technical analytical experience - incorporating elements like SQL, Python, R, Tableau, or Data Studio
• Experience in machine learning and the ability to identify the correct opportunities for its use and the construction of the appropriate training and production of models
• Strong interpersonal skills and the competency to simplify and translate intricate analysis into actions that a client can understand
• More than two years' experience in the field of data analytics
• At least one year of experience with cloud technology, such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
