Job Description

As an integral part of Xplor's global data engineering team and reporting directly to the Data and Analytics Manager, you will be pivotal in shaping our enterprise data solutions. Your role focuses on the design, creation, and maintenance of business intelligence tools and reports that propel client value and operational efficiency. You will engage with our principal business units, requiring experience with large-scale database systems.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Data Analytics Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Enhancing and maintaining advanced reporting and Power BI solutions.
  • Developing T-SQL scripting and DAX for report generation.
  • Creating robust data models and transforming business processes through ELT development.
  • Leading cloud migration initiatives and ensuring high availability of data warehouse products.
  • Collaborating in Agile project planning, testing, and quality assurance processes.

Technical Skills

You should have extensive experience with:

  • Business Intelligence/reporting tools such as Microsoft SQL, SRSS, SSIS, SSAS, and Power BI.
  • Data modeling, ETL processes, and ensuring data integrity through effective governance practices.
  • Cloud-based tools like Snowflake, with Python/Powershell knowledge being advantageous.

Education/Qualifications

A BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in Snowflake/Redshift environments, high-frequency differential ETL processes, and Agile methodologies.
