Position Overview

Autodesk seeks an experienced data analyst to join our Licensing and Compliance team. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Engineering, you’ll be a crucial part of the Identity & Licensing organization aimed at building a robust platform across all Autodesk products and services. This role offers the opportunity to drive major strategic initiatives and deliver a seamless, compliant user experience essential for company success.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Data Analytics Engineer, your duties will include:

  • Collaborating with product teams on BI solution development and implementation.
  • Analyzing large datasets to unearth business and operational trends.
  • Creating and maintaining insightful, comprehensive dashboards and reports.
  • Designing data visualizations to simplify complex data for strategic decisions.
  • Ensuring data source reliability and implementing validation processes.
  • Automating processes to enhance system integrity and reduce failures.
  • Providing data-driven insights to guide product decisions and enhancements.

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates should have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Data Analytics or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Data Analytics or BI Engineering roles.
  • Strong BI visualization skills, preferably with Google Looker (other BI tools also beneficial).
  • Proven proficiency in SQL and familiarity with databases like Hive, Snowflake, and Presto.
  • A solid track record of implementing analytic solutions to support business decisions.

Preferred Qualifications

Advantageous skills include:

  • Experience with advanced analytics tools and technologies such as Jupyter Notebooks, Python, and Pyspark.
  • Familiarity with workflow management tools like Airflow.
  • Experience in data mining and machine learning techniques.
