The Role:
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with a robust background in Data Warehousing, ETL processes, and scheduling. This role is vital in supporting our team with both new initiatives and existing applications.
Key Accountabilities:
- Design, code, and document ETL processes for new projects.
- Independently address and resolve issues within existing applications.
- Evaluate and fulfill individual task commitments within project timelines.
- Perform code reviews and supervise the work of technical consultants.
- Identify technical challenges and propose innovative solutions.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5-7 years of experience in Informatica PowerCenter development.
- Minimum 2 years working with DataStage or Talend.
- Extensive expertise in PL/SQL and Unix Shell Scripting.
- Strong database skills with experience in Data Warehousing solutions such as MOLAP, ROLAP, and EDW.
- Familiarity with scheduling tools like Autosys or Control M.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in Informatica or Talend Administration.
