We are looking for an exceptional Data Engineer to join our Engineering Team. Being part of our progressive group, you'll have the opportunity to actively participate in a wide range of digital projects that encompass cultural awareness and business continuity among others.

Qualifications

• Mastery of AWS and Azure cloud technologies for tasks like ETL pipeline development, data warehousing, data lake creation, and data movement.

• Skill in using AWS and Azure data and analytics services (or their open-source alternatives), such as EMR, Glue, RedShift, Kinesis, Lambda, Data Factory, and Databricks, among others.

• Strong grounding in data engineering, data science, and product development, including experience in both stream and batch processing.

• Proficient in the design and deployment of production data pipelines, using languages such as Java, Python, Scala, Spark, and SQL.

• Ability for scripting, data extraction via APIs, and composing SQL queries.

• Hands-on experience in integrating data engineering components into production systems, as well as expertise in data cleaning, data wrangling, data visualization, and reporting.

• Willingness and flexibility to travel to client locations as needed.

• Expertise in handling substantial volumes of structured and unstructured data, including integrating data through AWS and Azure cloud-based ingestion and curation processes.

• Knowledge in data mining, machine learning, and natural language processing is considered a plus.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and participation in Scrum ceremonies.

• Competency in designing and building solutions specifically for the AWS and Azure cloud environments, potentially involving expertise in Platform-as-a-Service components, serverless architecture, and container technologies.
