Job Description
Main activities
- Gathering business requirements through various requirements techniques
- Translating these into an efficient Data solution by designing data flows, data models and data stores/data sets, mapping rules, access mechanisms, etc.
- Analyzing the best “golden” sources of data and defining the business and technical rules on how to integrate them
- Prototyping the solution to facilitate the business validation
- Designing and developing the “logical” and “physical” data models and data stores, industrializing the feeding and deliveries from the integrated data stores (data warehouse, data marts, data sets)
- Streamlining these data pipelines across the enterprise for optimum usage throughout the company or business/function
- Demonstrating strong capabilities in finding innovative solutions and proposing improvements on the current data architecture
- Participating in the testing of the solution
- Aligning with the different technical teams on technical details
Qualifications
Requirements
- Over 5 years of relevant previous experience
- Big data Tech expertise: Spark, Kafka, Scala, Hadoop, Hive, etc.
- Advanced SQL
- tools, pipelines
- Knowledge of data modelling
- Schema registry
- Git, GitHub, Confluence
- Familiarity with Ansible
- Well-developed documentation skills
- Testing – defining test scenarios and executing tests
