Job Description

As a Senior Data Engineer at ChangeEngine, you have the exciting opportunity to lead the development of our data infrastructure. This pivotal role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced data pipelines that enhance our analytics capabilities and support product development. By working in this senior-level position, you will leverage your extensive experience in data engineering and your familiarity with the dynamic nature of B2B SaaS environments to architect a data ecosystem that is not only robust and reliable but also scalable and efficient.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines catering to diverse organizational needs.
• Select and deploy optimal tools and technologies for data processing, storage, and analytics.
• Work collaboratively with the engineering and product teams to define data requirements, maintain high data quality, and ensure integrity.
• Refine and enhance data systems to boost performance and scalability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in data engineering, emphasizing data pipeline construction and maintenance.
• Demonstrated senior-level expertise in a B2B SaaS environment.
• Extensive knowledge of data architecture and processing frameworks like Apache Airflow and dbt.
• Proficiency in cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and database technologies such as PostgreSQL.
• Strong skills in SQL and programming languages such as Python or Scala.
• Experience in startup and scale-up phases highly beneficial.
