Position: Senior Data Engineer - Cloud & Platforms Engineering

Job Responsibilities

  • Partner with business stakeholders and tech teams to enable data consumption and automation.
  • Orchestrate, monitor, and optimize ETL processes.
  • Proactively enhance data infrastructure using best practices and the latest technologies.
  • Define standard procedures and requirements for data warehousing.
  • Lead and mentor data engineers to foster team growth and shared knowledge.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of data engineering experience using modern SDLC processes to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Expertise in building and designing data warehouse solutions.
  • Proven track record in complex data environments and associated technologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of Snowflake and strong Python skills.
  • Proficiency with git and the ability to establish/mature Data Engineering best practices.
  • Exceptional technical communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a willingness to learn quickly.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Vector Stores such as Pinecone.
  • Knowledge of DevOps/CI/CD tools like Gitlab, Jenkins, Artifactory, and Terraform.
  • Familiarity with AWS services.
  • Experience with traditional database platforms like SQL Server and MySQL.
  • Background in financial data, including market data and trade/positions data.

Compensation

Expected annual base salary range: $110,000 - $225,000. Actual base salary will be determined by individual experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. For roles outside the US, compensation will follow local market comparables.

Note: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits.
