About the Role

The ING Analytics team is essential in transforming ING into a data-driven digital leader, dedicated to delivering outstanding analytics solutions that create real value. As part of our ambitious Analytics Engineering team, which consists of over 50 talented engineers, you will be instrumental in driving this transformation.

You will take on critical responsibilities as an engineer within our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives in the ING Analytics Wholesale Bank Tribe. This exciting role involves developing data pipelines that enhance our ESG efforts, focusing on aligning with the NetZero 2050 climate commitment, addressing human rights issues, and transitioning to sustainable finance solutions. Your expertise in Data Engineering will see you collaborating with data analysts, data scientists, and UX designers to enhance customer experience through innovative technology.

What You Will Do

Your role will be pivotal in designing and implementing robust data pipelines for our ESG project, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and fostering a startup mindset to handle one of ING's most strategic themes currently. Data accuracy and integrity are paramount in maintaining our credibility and supporting ING's sustainability goals.

Key Qualifications:

• Proven experience in building complex data pipelines.
• Strong proficiency in Apache Airflow, Spark, Python, and other relevant data manipulation tools.
• Experience in deployment automation tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD methods.
• Familiarity with both SQL and noSQL databases, system design, and MLOps practices is preferable.
• An understanding of the ESG domain is advantageous but not essential.
