Senior Data Engineer Opportunity

As a valued member of our Technical Solutions team, you will leverage your expertise in data and software engineering to support and mentor team members, manage our product lifecycle, and ensure the success of our partnerships. Your role will be pivotal in transforming healthcare through actionable insights, making a direct impact on patient care.

What You'll Achieve in Your First Year:

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of our pioneering Healthcare Map and Product Suite.
• Design and implement innovative software solutions, breaking conventional boundaries to tackle technical challenges.
• Develop and optimize secure, high-quality production code and streamline processes to enhance system stability and efficiency.
• Lead technical review sessions, influencing the integration of our solutions into diverse healthcare environments.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Forge robust partnerships, gathering and translating technical specifications to align with our strategic goals.
• Provide expertise in technical design, actively contributing to our architectural direction and standards.
• Independently make strategic decisions that effectively address specific technical needs.

What You Bring to the Team

With at least 5 years of experience in healthcare data and a strong background in software and data engineering, you are proficient in Python, Spark, and Hadoop, and skilled in developing APIs, REST services, and complex data workflows on cloud platforms. Your ability to design scalable, robust data architectures and your expertise with modern tools like Kafka, Databricks, and Snowflake will be crucial. Additional experience with AWS services and AI/ML, as well as relevant industry certifications, will be highly regarded.

Compensation & Benefits

Komodo Health offers a competitive salary range of $140,000—$233,100, dependent on expertise and experience. This role is eligible for performance-based bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical insurance, 401k, and paid time off, ensuring a total rewards package that supports your life and well-being.
