We are currently in need of a seasoned Sr. Data Engineer with a specialization in Snowflake to join our data team. In your role as a Data Engineer, you will be tasked with designing, crafting, and overseeing data pipelines, data integration operations, and data infrastructure utilizing Cloud Snowflake DBT. You'll be working hand in hand with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to guarantee smooth data flow and champion data-fueled decision making within the company.
Requirements
- At least 9 years of industry experience, specifically within data engineering
- At least 5 years of experience in building and deploying large-scale data processing pipelines in a real-world setting
- Knowledge of Datawarehouse (DWH) systems, and migrating from DWH to data lakes/Snowflake
- Strong experience with Snowflake Cloud Data Platform (having a SnowPro Core Certification is a plus) or other cloud data storage solutions (AWS Services)
- Experience in working with dbt (core and/or Cloud) and Fivetran
- Proficiency in using Informatica Cloud is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the capacity to tackle complex data-related challenges
- Ability to design processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management
