This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with top-tier professionals such as the Artificial Intelligence Architect and the Senior Director of Artificial Intelligence Strategy, focusing on building and optimizing data infrastructures that propel our AI and Machine Learning (ML) initiatives forward.
Data Pipeline Design & Implementation: Construct and maintain efficient data pipelines and ETL processes, ensuring data is effectively ingested, cleaned, transformed, and loaded from diverse sources while maintaining security and high availability.
Data Infrastructure Development: Take charge of designing, implementing, and managing advanced data infrastructure like data lakes, warehouses, and databases to bolster data analytics and AI/ML workflows.
Collaboration with AI/ML Teams: Work closely with data scientists, data analysts, and the AI Architect to comprehend data requirements and develop data models for complex AI/ML use cases.
Data Quality Management: Establish data quality frameworks to guarantee data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across the organization.
Technology Evaluation & Integration: Assess and incorporate new technologies to advance our data infrastructure, ensuring they align with our strategies and future needs.
Data Governance & Security: Collaborate with security teams to develop governance policies and practices, upholding stringent data security and privacy standards.
Performance Tuning & Optimization: Continuously enhance data processing performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks and optimizing data pipeline efficiency.
Documentation & Best Practices: Create comprehensive documentation and adhere to best practices in data engineering and architecture.
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Professional Experience: At least 2 years in data engineering, with proven expertise in developing and optimizing data pipelines and managing data infrastructure for AI/ML projects.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in coding with Python or Java, hands-on experience with big data technologies and tools such as Apache Airflow, Apache NiFi, and extensive knowledge of SQL and database systems like PostgreSQL, Redshift. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and MLOps principles is essential.
