Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will:

• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to deliver on team objectives.
• Design and build scalable machine learning (ML) model lifecycle management pipelines.
• Create, deploy, and manage ML models while ensuring scalability and automation.
• Develop data models and data pipelines tailored to machine learning needs, emphasizing reusability and repeatability.
• Select and implement the best ML frameworks, libraries, and platforms for building advanced ML solutions.
• Design and implement reusable software components in collaboration with data scientists.
• Translate ML prototypes into robust production-ready solutions that effectively serve multiple customers.
• Provide guidance on best practices regarding data partitioning, storage, system performance, and data quality.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

Ideal candidates will have:

• An MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Data Science.
• Proven experience in developing algorithms and ML products for production environments.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages and big data platforms, such as Scala, Python, R, Java, and Spark.
• Expertise in continuous delivery, cloud platforms (AWS), and modern software development practices.
• Experience with ML tools and frameworks such as Scikit, TensorFlow, and other relevant technologies.
• A strong foundation in machine learning algorithms, including but not limited to Random Forests, GBM, and NLP algorithms.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a strong aptitude for learning complex data models.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for teamwork and innovation.
