Accertify is expanding and we are currently seeking a skilled Senior Data Engineer to enhance our global fraud-fighting initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by harnessing your technical skills to support advanced reporting and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement systems to collate and streamline large data sources for BI tools.
• Ensure data integrity through robust validation and monitoring processes.
• Collaborate with various teams including Client Performance Analytics and Product Management to optimize data source efficiency.
• Work closely with Data Design and Big Data teams to enhance data procedures across multiple platforms.
• Engage with Data Governance and client-facing teams to refine data management practices.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices related to code review and version control.

Your Contributions:

You will be positioned within our dynamic Product Development organization, engaging with technical and business units to drive enhancements in Accertify's product offerings. Your expertise will not only support robust data systems but also influence user-facing features, fostering an environment of technical excellence and innovation.

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least four years of practical coding in Big Data architecture or software development.
• Proficiency in Python, PySpark, SQL, Scala, Java, Spark, Flink, Drill with a strong preference for PySpark.
• Experience with Gitlab and other version control tools.
• Adept in developing efficient data aggregation processes and optimizing performance.
• Exceptional ability to articulate complex technical details to a diverse stakeholder group.
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment, managing high-profile client projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Data Analytics, or related fields.
• Professional certifications in utilized programming languages or platforms.
• Prior experience in Fraud or Risk Detection sectors, particularly with online payment systems.
• Familiarity with Tableau or similar BI tools and Accertify’s proprietary solutions like Interceptas and Account Protection.

Salary & Work Arrangement:

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $75,000 to $150,000, dependent on location, skills, and experience. This role permits remote work across the US, with a hybrid option available for Chicago-based employees at our Itasca, IL headquarters.
