What You'll Do

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities to sustain our growth and efficiency:

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and API integrations.
• Collaborate with analytics and business teams to enhance data models feeding into business intelligence tools.
• Implement systems to monitor data quality, guaranteeing accurate and accessible data for key stakeholders.
• Write unit and integration tests, contribute to engineering wiki, and document all work.
• Troubleshoot data-related issues and support in resolving them.
• Work closely with frontend and backend engineers, product managers, and analysts.
• Design and manage the company's data assets, including models and SQL jobs.
• Evaluate tools for data lineage and contribute to long-term data platform architecture strategies.

What You Know

Candidates will need to meet the following qualifications:

• A minimum of 8 years in ETL and Data Engineering.
• Profound experience with SQL, NoSQL databases, and Azure cloud data services.
• 5-8 years of experience with Data Engineering and ETL tools, particularly in an Azure environment including Azure Functions, Azure ADF, Databricks, and PySpark.
• Proficiency in Python, Scala, or similar scripting languages.

An advanced knowledge of SQL and experience with both structured and unstructured datasets is essential.

Education

Applicants must possess at least a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Software Development Management, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
