At Mediaocean, we are seeking a seasoned Senior Data Engineer to join the TVIQ team. As part of our innovative workforce, you will develop advanced solutions in linear and CTV media planning and buying, leveraging robust data science and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

As a pivotal member of our team, you will:

  • Lead data engineering and strategy development for the Converge Media Planner project.
  • Design and maintain ETL processes utilizing diverse TV-based data sources such as Automatic Content Recognition (ACR) and Nielsen Panel Data.
  • Architect and manage the comprehensive data warehouse for TVIQ, including schema, tables, and SQL views.
  • Facilitate the transformation of complex JSON structures into actionable SQL queries.
  • Collaborate in the development of data orchestration processes using Airflow and Python.
  • Create and implement data solutions in environments like AWS and Snowflake.
  • Work alongside data science teams to refine and optimize media plans for both linear and CTV formats.
  • Generate insightful reporting on KPIs and provide actionable recommendations.

Who We Are Looking For:

Ideal candidates should have:

  • At least 7 years of experience in data engineering or similar roles.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, AWS, with a solid foundation in Unix/Linux OS and RDS.
  • Experience in Snowflake, with skills in Airflow and Elasticsearch as advantageous.
  • Exceptional analytical capabilities and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
