About the Role: Senior Data Quality Engineer, Business Metrics

As a Senior Data Quality Engineer based in Kraków, Poland, you will lead efforts in the G&A function, focusing on developing reliable data models essential for business and financial planning, reporting, and analysis. This vital role ensures the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of our core metrics through robust data modeling and testing. Proximity to Kraków or willingness to relocate is required as this is a hybrid opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining scalable data models for business and financial analysis.
  • Designing and implementing testing frameworks to validate data integrity.
  • Monitoring data quality, identifying and resolving upstream discrepancies.
  • Implementing best practices in data handling to ensure utmost data accuracy.
  • Troubleshooting and refining data models to bolster analysis and reporting frameworks.
  • Generating routine and ad hoc reports to monitor the health of financial data.
  • Staying current with industry standards in data quality and financial data management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Quality, or Analytics, preferably in a high-growth or tech environment.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and familiarity with scripting languages, especially Python.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with financial data and understanding key financial metrics.
  • Familiarity with data stack tools such as dbt Labs, Snowflake, and ThoughtSpot; Salesforce data model knowledge is a plus.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to build productive relationships and collaborate across teams.
  • Self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
