Overview:
We are currently seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our Data Science team working on the next generation of Conversational AI (CAI), including the cutting-edge Generative AI/Foundation Model technology. In this role, you will use one of the world’s largest goal-oriented conversational data sets to push the limits of conversational AI at scale. Additionally, you'll have over 300K professional data annotators (contact center agents) to assist with exploration and learning.
You will:
Propose and carry out research tasks that guide product strategy
Publish and share innovative research derived from our conversational data
Employ state-of-the-art NLP/NLU/Generative AI/LLM techniques to understand and extract value from one of the world's largest goal-oriented conversational data sets
Develop innovative solutions to unsupervised/semi-supervised problems in intent recognition and dialog management
Enhance NLP systems via self-supervision from unannotated dialogue
You have:
A Ph.D. in Computational Linguistics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or equivalent
At least 6 years of data science experience
Expertise in NLP techniques for tasks such as question answering, intent classification, knowledge extraction, and dialogue management
A record of applied research in NLP or related fields, and/or experience with dialogue systems
Proficiency in writing efficient and clear Python code in a Linux environment

The salary range for this role is from $150,000 to $190,000. The final compensation will depend on various factors, including your location, skills, experience, education, and certifications. We offer the following comprehensive benefits regardless of your location:
