Position Summary

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist - Business Intelligence Solution to join our innovative team. This role involves solving complex problems independently and bringing a fresh perspective to existing solutions. Key responsibilities include:

• Structuring predictive analysis to address multiple or complex business problems using advanced statistical techniques and extensive industry knowledge.
• Collaborating with business partners to identify their problems and goals, develop predictive modeling, statistical analysis, data reports, and performance metrics.
• Presenting recommendations to senior staff and clients and acting as an analytics product owner to translate business needs into analytics projects and actions.
• Leading the development of moderately complex, moderately risky solutions.
• Developing and participating in presentations and consultations for existing and prospective constituents on analytics results and solutions.
• Using algorithms and predictive models to investigate problems, detect patterns, and recommend solutions.
• Utilizing strong programming skills to explore, examine, and interpret large volumes of data in various forms.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of analytic experience driving analysis and initiatives with proven business impact.
• 3+ years of data science experience, preferably in consulting.
• Experience with SQL and Tableau.
• Programming experience using Python/R.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of advanced analytics tools and languages for analyzing large data sets from multiple data sources.
• Ability to anticipate and prevent problems before they occur.
• Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts and implications to business partners.
• Proficiency in most areas of mathematical analysis, machine learning, statistical analyses, and predictive modeling, with specialization in some areas.

Education

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Master’s degree or PhD preferred.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is: $92,700.00 - $185,400.00. This represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in this job grade. The actual base salary offer depends on various factors including experience, education, and geography. Additionally, this role is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program.
