About the Team

As a member of our Chapter Data & AI Engineering, you will be among experts who provide data and AI engineering capabilities to our product teams. This chapter enhances functional skillsets, improves E.ON’s MLOps & AIOps tech stack, and ensures high levels of data delivery and model automation.

You will work on products developed by our Digital Solutions | Future Energy Home team. This team creates software to manage home energy systems such as photovoltaic installations, inverters, batteries, EV charging stations, heat pumps, and meters. These cloud-based solutions integrate with various vendors' devices, applying centralized insights, analytics, and control mechanisms for optimal performance.

Your Responsibilities

  • Conduct complex data analysis using advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to address critical business challenges.
  • Enhance decision-making processes for home energy management systems through data analysis.
  • Design, build, and deploy predictive models and algorithms, ensuring scalability and integration with existing systems.
  • Oversee data science projects from conception to deployment and maintain their performance.
  • Ensure timely delivery and adherence to high-quality standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments and business units in cross-functional teams to leverage data for business insights.

Your Profile

  • Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related fields.
  • Extensive experience in data science or related fields, with a proven track record of leading successful data-driven projects.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, and experience with data manipulation tools (SQL, Pandas) and machine learning frameworks (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, adept at translating complex data into actionable insights and strategies.
