Role: Senior Data Scientist

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to become a core part of our team at Similarweb. In this role, you will transform raw data into actionable metrics and develop models and algorithms to enhance our research capabilities. Work collaboratively with data engineers and product managers to deliver best-in-class digital insights from customer feedback.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze data from diverse sources to produce actionable insights
• Develop and test new tasks from exploration to proof of concept
• Oversee the implementation of tasks from POC to production
• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure production quality
• Create key metrics and develop new models for our solutions
• Validate and refine existing metrics continually

Ideal Candidate

• Holds a M.Sc. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a relevant field — thesis is a plus
• Over 4 years of experience in developing statistical and machine learning models
• Proficient in coding and implementing algorithms (Python, PySpark, PyTorch)
• Experienced in probability theory and statistics
• Familiar with SQL
