Role Overview

We are looking for a versatile Senior Deep Learning Engineer with extensive experience in developing, benchmarking, and validating various deep neural network architectures to extract knowledge and information from images in real-time. If you are smart, creative, and passionate about deploying Deep Learning solutions to the world, Focal Systems is the place for you!

Key Responsibilities

• Develop state-of-the-art and novel deep neural network architectures
• Create training & testing pipelines to assess architecture performance on image processing tasks
• Stay updated with deep learning literature and research publications to implement the latest techniques
• Develop machine-learning algorithms on frameworks such as Keras, TensorFlow, and Torch, and deploy them on various hardware platforms

Requirements

• Masters or PhD in CS / EE or equivalent with stellar academic performance
• 6+ years of Machine Learning/Deep Learning experience in a corporate environment (post academia)
• Significant experience training Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs)
• Proficient in Keras (TensorFlow) / Pytorch
• Experience with training Deep Learning Computer Vision (DL CV) applications in a corporate environment
• Startup mentality, team player, and strong work ethic

Published research in peer-reviewed journals is a huge plus!
