About the Role

As a Senior Generative AI Engineer, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining APIs and SDKs for our AI models, focusing on Large-Language Models (LLMs) and Foundation Models (FMs) across our enterprise AI platforms. This role, which is remote-eligible, invites you to be part of an innovative team that shapes real-time, customer-interacting applications through the integration of advanced AI technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and deploy core APIs and SDKs for accessing and interfacing with LLMs and FMs.
• Design performance-optimized, scalable APIs for real-time applications.
• Develop governance automation and application-specific interfaces leveraging advanced AI capabilities.
• Monitor, analyze, and ensure the operational health of API access patterns.
• Implement AI safety measures and collaborate closely with researchers to integrate guardrails within the API layer.

Who You Are

An ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related technical field, combined with at least 4 years of experience in ML application platforms design and deployment, and proficiency in programming languages like Python, Go, Scala, or Java. Experience in building and optimizing deep neural network systems is crucial.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Expertise in large-scale AI projects involving NLP, speech recognition, or computer vision.
• Familiarity with Graph ML, Network Theory, and graph querying tools such as Apache Spark Graphframes.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with ambiguous situations and tight deadlines.

Salary and Benefits

Our competitive salary ranges are as follows, based on location and role complexity:

• New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $165,100 - $188,500
• San Francisco, California (Hybrid On-Site): $174,900 - $199,700
• Remote (Regardless of Location): $140,000 - $159,800
