Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Senior Geometry & Texture Computer Vision Researcher, you will leverage your experience in geometry/texture processing, computer vision tasks, and deep learning technology. You are expected to have a robust knowledge base in image/video enhancement, restoration, computer graphics, and the application of deep learning technologies. You'll tackle challenges involving the trade-offs between computational complexity and performance, developing cutting-edge neural network architectures, training methods, and processing algorithms to advance modern computer vision capacities.

  • Analyze system contexts and technology requirements for successful implementation.
  • Develop conceptual models to demonstrate new technology feasibility.

Skills, Education, and Experience Required

  • Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in developing algorithms for geometry representation learning, deep learning, computer vision, and computer graphics.
  • Expertise in computer graphics, video processing systems, and related software in consumer and professional products.
  • Proficiency in Matlab, C/C++, OpenCV, and Python (Tensorflow/Pytorch) programming for computer vision applications.
  • A strong foundation in the latest AI technologies and their applications in image research.
  • Self-motivated, quick learner, and excellent team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Outstanding communication skills in both writing and speaking.

Highly desirable attributes include experience in patent filing, hands-on application of Computer Vision and Machine Learning algorithms to real-world issues, and a proven track record of research achievements in the field of video encoding and processing.
