The Role

As the Senior Health Data Analyst on the Data Onboarding Team for Veeva Compass, you will focus on delivering quality data within our suite of Compass data products. Veeva Compass includes prescription and medical claims record-level data to support more broad de-identified patient analytics, and projected prescription and medical claims data for HCP-level engagement.

You will drive quality health data as part of our Product team, focusing on two key areas:

1. Data Onboarding: Onboard health data sources by understanding supplier data and its impact on our data network. Own the analytics for how new data affects our network, and identify product improvements to better assimilate new data.
2. Data Quality: Support quality metrics, identify improvements, and work cross-functionally to launch new features that continue to enhance our data at scale across billions of records.

What You'll Do

• Integrate new health data suppliers into our Compass suite of products.
• Collaborate with Product Managers for any new features needed for new or existing data suppliers.
• Analyze our data network and provide recommendations for strengthening it.
• Understand our product pipeline and its impact on onboarded data to identify improvements.
• Develop standard templates and practices to streamline data onboarding.
• Lead key analytics projects in the data quality roadmap.
• Design new data analytics and data quality features & capabilities, including match, merge, dedupe logic, value enrichment, and reference mappings.
• Establish quality metrics and build dashboards for continuous improvement of our data products.
• Investigate and resolve data observations and questions.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience analyzing prescription and medical claims data.
• Advanced SQL skills for querying and manipulating relational databases.
• Knowledge of industry-standard billing codes such as ICD, CPT/HCPCS, NDC.
• Experience documenting and presenting analytics results to stakeholders.
• Experience defining KPIs and building dashboards to measure success.

Compensation

Base pay: $80,000 - $145,000

The salary range listed here complies with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Actual salaries may vary based on experience and location. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation, such as variable bonuses and/or stock bonuses.
