About Your New Role

As the Senior Health Data Analyst, you will dive deep into health data within our Compass Patient product, an essential component of the Veeva Compass suite known for its intricate prescription and medical claims data. This role involves:

• Leading data investigations and ensuring data quality across extensive datasets.
• Developing and refining data analytics practices that support robust patient journey analytics and broader market insights.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to pioneer data feature improvements and uphold our standards for excellence in data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage extensive data investigation and query resolution activities engaging both internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop standards and templates to optimize data quality and efficiency within your domain.
• Initiate and spearhead analytics projects, contributing to the data and feature roadmaps.
• Create and implement innovative data analytics features to enhance data integrity and usability.

What We Need From You:

The ideal candidate will have:

• Over 4 years of experience in analyzing prescription and medical claims data.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and relational database manipulation.
• Strong familiarity with industry-standard billing codes such as ICD, CPT/HCPCS, NDC.
• Proven ability to document findings and interact effectively with various stakeholders.
• Skills in defining KPIs and constructing detailed dashboards to track success.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Python proficiency
• Experience with BI tool Sigma
• Background in commercial life science analytics
• Expertise in lab results or genomics data analytics
• Familiarity with enterprise-level product environments
