We're currently searching for a strategist/analyst capable of compiling insightful reports for corporate communication and risk management, with the responsibility of creating a team within our Lisbon office, alongside colleagues based in London and New York. Signal AI, the AI-driven platform for corporate reputation, is seeking a Senior Insights Analyst for its Lisbon office. In this essential role, you will assist our CEO and C-suite clients at Fortune 500 companies in evaluating and enhancing their companies’ reputation, whilst simultaneously assembling a team of analysts to work with all our clients. You will be responsible for transforming our innovative Reputation platform (which quantifies the reputation of hundreds of companies) into reports that generate narratives and streamline decision-making processes. Your role is not merely to construct Python scripts but to discern the factors influencing corporate reputation and contextualise the reasons within the data. In this role, you’ll utilise our proprietary scoring system, extract the meanings in the data to clarify those scores, and compile insight reports for senior executives. It presents an ideal opportunity for those who enjoy dissecting data, uncovering fascinating narratives, and presenting them with wit and personality. Your role will be a blend of a data journalist from FiveThirtyEight and a strategy consultant from McKinsey. Mandatory skills: - A passion for diving into data. We will provide you with an advanced analytics suite capable of making sense of millions of data points, but you will need to be enthusiastic about uncovering the data points that reveal unseen stories. - A knack for copywriting to help summarise and present your research into business insights for C-suite communications leaders. - Proficiency in PowerPoint and Google Slides to create visually engaging presentations capable of translating data into insights. - The ability to hire and manage analytics teams that focus on compelling storytelling narratives. - Proficiency in Excel and data literacy to organise the data into your personal pivot views. - Fluent English Desirable skills: - Understanding of the necessities of communications professionals (ideally with experience in a communications role at a client or agency). - Familiarity with social listening / media monitoring tools. - Experience in PR analytics and recommendations. A background in strategic planning at a communications agency is a plus, either as a strategist or working closely with a strategist.
