The Role You are a good fit if you can: - Dissect business problems and devise analytic solutions - Collaborate with experts in various business areas, understanding the underlying business processes, strategies and executions. - Identify ways to improve model accuracy and analytics effectiveness - Define outputs of use cases for end users to perform optimization analytics - Address business needs by prioritizing crucial pain points that, once resolved, will deliver the highest value - Extract, transform, and combine all incoming data to discover insights that may provide a competitive advantage or resolve a pressing business problem - Not just collect and report data, but also build statistical models, interpret their meanings, and suggest ways to apply the data - Derive business insights through expert mathematical, analytical and computational techniques - Design, deploy, and tune analytics models integrated with structured / unstructured data sources - Select suitable tools for the analytics solution or for data handling - Create visual presentations of analytics results and interpret quantitative insights for a non-technical audience - Armed with data, modeling expertise, and analytical results, communicate informed conclusions and recommendations within an organization’s leadership structure. Working within our Agile Development team will also be part of your routine. Who You Are - Experienced working in an agile development team building software products - Inquisitive: exploring, asking "what if", performing both informal and formal analysis, questioning assumptions and forming new paradigms - Able to think "beyond the API" - Familiar or expert with big data/analytic tools, such as Python, Python Analytical Libraries, Graph/NoSQL databases, Cloud Environment - Broad and deep skills in data and analytics including classification, communication, creativity, diagnostics, metrics/measurement, organization, prioritization, qualitative and quantitative analysis, research - Experienced in creating and using advanced machine learning algorithms and statistics such as regression, simulation, scenario analysis, modeling, clustering, decision trees, neural networks, etc. - Experienced with manipulation of large volumes of data - Experienced with programming languages and tools as well as general software development skills (source code management, debugging, testing, deployment, etc.) - Able to challenge and elevate the existing use of data - Possess strong business acumen and the ability to communicate findings to both business and IT leaders in ways that can influence how an organization approaches a business challenge - Able to recognize business and challenge people and organizations, including executive management, especially when issues are complex and require a great deal of tact - Can lead or participate in multi-functional teams or special projects - Can work effectively with a wide latitude to define and decide on tools, processes, priorities and resources following general business unit directives - Adaptable and flexible to work environment including but not limited to, out of town travel required to meet business commitments and handling multiple tasks concurrently, and easily adapting to new assignments, systems, tools Being You Diversity is more than physical attributes or origination; it's our thoughts and who we are.
