What You Will Do

We are seeking a talented Senior Search Relevance Engineer to join our team at Moveworks. In this pivotal role, you will work on enhancing our search-based question-answering platform, primarily focusing on improving enterprise users’ tech query resolutions. By melding modern information retrieval methodologies with the latest advancements in natural language understanding, you will help refine our core Search product.

Your contributions will be crucial in advancing answer quality, tackling challenges like lexical gaps, semantic text comprehension, and data sparsity. You will also collaborate closely with product, UX, customer success, and other engineering teams to define and implement sophisticated solutions.

• Developing new ranking features and optimizing existing ones to improve relevance metrics.
• Creating algorithmic frameworks to support a diverse range of ranking features.
• Designing platforms and tooling to facilitate parallel ranking experiments.
• Formulating metrics to assess ranking performance.

What You Bring to the Table

Your expertise in traditional information retrieval techniques or machine learning-based ranking models will be essential. You should be proficient in analyzing query logs to extract insights and identify areas for enhancing search quality. A solid foundation in text processing, information retrieval, natural language understanding, or machine learning is crucial. Proficiency in Golang is a plus.

Compensation Range: $120,000 - $249,000

Our competitive compensation package includes a robust salary, equity for all full-time roles, comprehensive benefits, and potential bonuses or commissions for applicable positions. Final compensation may vary based on factors such as location, role complexity, and applicant experience and skills.
