About the Opportunity

Jerry is building the first AllCar™ super app, optimizing all aspects of car ownership – from insurance and buying/selling to registration, loans, safety, repairs, and parking in a $2T U.S. market. We started with insurance in 2019 and have since launched loan refinancing, real-time driving insights, a repair marketplace, car diagnostics, and a GenAI-powered chatbot. With over 5M customers, $240MM raised in funding, and a 40X revenue scale, Jerry operates across 7 countries with a team of 250.

In this role, you will report directly to our VP of Business Operations and Analytics. Your primary responsibilities include gathering, analyzing, and modeling high-quality customer, vehicle, and historical loss data for advanced machine learning models. You will drive key business decisions, shaping our strategic direction by making insights and recommendations for profitable growth, cost management, pricing, and loss trend identifications.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Analyze customer, vehicle, and historical loss data to uncover trends and inform business decisions.
  • Lead the design, execution, and analysis of A/B experiments, extracting key insights for product and business strategies.
  • Develop systems and tools for loss cost management, pricing recommendations, and loss data analysis.
  • Build scalable solutions and processes to ensure the integrity of claim/loss data from insurance partners.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and optimize operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with marketing and data teams to integrate loss performance insights into user acquisition strategies.
  • Collaborate with senior operational leaders and external partners to manage costs and set prices.
  • Communicate analytical outcomes and recommendations effectively to diverse audiences, including the executive team.
  • Set high standards for yourself and your team, aiming for operational excellence.

Ideal Profile

  • 6+ years in consulting or business operations with a Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years post-MBA.
  • Experience working at a startup or in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
  • Strong background in data science, business operations, data analytics, and/or product analytics.
  • Proficient in SQL and Python (or a similar ML programming language).
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a framework for addressing complex issues.
  • Ability to create alignment and drive decisions through collaboration and influence.
  • High emotional intelligence, creative problem-solving abilities, and adaptability.
  • Comfortable communicating across all levels of the company.
  • Ability to clearly articulate information and recommendations to diverse audiences.
