Job Description

Visa’s Global Data Science group is seeking talented data engineers passionate about crafting high-impact solutions using vast data resources spanning over 3 billion cards and 100 billion transactions annually. Become part of Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) supporting global initiatives in data assets and solutions engineering to further our mission of universal financial access.

Key Responsibilities

You will lead the MLOps team and craft strategic visions for operational machine learning solutions to support our global data initiatives. Develop robust MLOps pipelines, manage high-volume ETL processes, and ensure data quality across systems. Your role is critical in partnering with various internal teams to optimize strategic decision-making through technological excellence.

What You Will Do

• Direct the development and management of machine learning operations and infrastructure.
• Create and sustain ETL processes using top tools like PySpark, Python, HIVE, and Scala across different data sources.
• Lead cross-functional teams to improve data management practices and foster a culture of analytical excellence.
• Participate in hiring and mentoring of the ML Ops team to strengthen our data engineering capabilities.

Candidate Profile

• Strong expertise in data science with experience in model development, performance optimization, and AI/ML technologies.
• Proficient in high-level programming and designing data pipelines.
• Excellent project management and communications skills capable of leading diverse teams.
