Job Description

Publicis Sapient is seeking a Senior Data Engineer Manager to lead top-tier technologists to actualize tangible business results for our corporate clients. You'll effect some of the world's largest brands by interpreting their prerequisites into transformative solutions that yield valuable insights. Collaborating with the most advanced data technologies in the field, you'll play a crucial role in enabling our clients to transition to a more digital future.

Your Impact:

• Serve as a trustworthy advisor to clients by exploiting data for customer acquisition and engagement as part of extensive digital transformation initiatives
• Enhance the use of large-scale data platforms as a critical component in connecting brands with consumers and enabling substantial business transformation
• Work intimately with our clients to discern their needs and translate them into technology solutions
• Offer expertise as a technical resource to address complex business issues that result in data integration and database systems designs
• Identify opportunities and devise execution strategies throughout the lifespan of client engagements
• Ensure all outputs are of high standards by setting development fronts, abiding by the standards, and participating in code reviews
• Counsel, aid, and manage team members

Qualifications

Your Skills & Experience: 

• Outstanding data engineering skills with solid background in distributed computing and an established track record in delivering large-scale data platforms
• Sound understanding of analytics, measurements, reporting, and business intelligence including modeling, insight development, and data science
• Hands-on technologist with profound expertise in big data environment for data integration, data storage, computing framework, analytics, and advanced visualization (i.e., ETL Tools, Streaming Tools, No-SQL databases, Spark, Reporting Tools, AI/ML Platforms)
• Practical experience with at least one of the principal public cloud data platforms (Amazon Web Services, Azure, or Google Cloud) 
• Competency in data governance for big data arena with knowledge of various MDM/entity resolution solutions
• Capability to lead teams that can swiftly comprehend the client’s existing digital ecosystem and devise a future data landscape vision and strategy considering the transformation plan and business goals 
• Have an opinion and understanding of build vs. buy, performance considerations, hosting, commercial models, business intelligence, reporting, and analytics
• Excellent client communication and facilitation skills, ability to persuade others and reach consensus, and team collaboration 
• Mixture of adept consulting, business, strategy, technical, and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
