ActiveCampaign is on the lookout for a talented Senior Marketing Data Operations Specialist to join our dynamic Marketing Analytics and Ops team. If you have a passion for transforming data into actionable insights and driving business growth, this role is perfect for you!
As a Senior Marketing Data Operations Specialist, you'll be instrumental in developing datasets, constructing data pipelines, and generating key insights to measure and enhance the impact of our marketing efforts. Your expertise will contribute to optimizing our marketing programs and modeling towards predictable growth. Additionally, you'll be pivotal in supporting and maintaining our marketing automation workflows and email campaigns tailored to various business use-cases. High integrity in data management, a commitment to objectivity, and a cooperative approach are essential for success in our innovative marketing team.
Data Analysis & Insights: You'll handle data across various digital marketing channels including Paid, Organic Search, and Social Media. Your role involves identifying key growth drivers, analyzing user behavior through different customer lifecycle stages, and offering recommendations for Marketing and Product enhancements.
Data Infrastructure & Integrations: Implement and manage integrations across third-party platforms using tools like Zapier to smooth data flow, and establish marketing automations, landing pages, forms, tags, and custom objects using tools like ActiveCampaign.
Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with the Email & Lifecycle teams to create, track, and report on various campaigns. Collaborate across functional teams including Sales and Finance to build a comprehensive understanding of our prospects and customers.
Documentation & Best Practices: Document key processes and workflows and establish best practices to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.
Extensive Experience: Minimum of 5 years in data analytics and operations, with hands-on experience in using analytical and visualization tools such as Looker and Tableau.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Google or Adobe product suites, intermediate experience in writing and optimizing SQL queries, and familiarity with predictive modeling techniques using R or Python.
Marketing Technology Proficiency: Experience with marketing automation platforms such as ActiveCampaign, Marketo, Pardot, or similar platforms is crucial.
Soft Skills: You should be a results-driven self-starter with excellent teamwork and problem-solving skills. Previous experience in SaaS and serving the SMB market will be considered an advantage.
