The Role
As Senior Product Manager, you will be part of an expert Product team, pivotal in developing Constellr’s data pipeline for geospatial datasets. Reporting to the Head of Product, you will take on strategic responsibilities to ensure scalability and have significant visibility across the company, directly influencing our success. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Product Strategy: Developing and executing the product strategy, focusing on critical market opportunities.
- Customer Engagement & Product Discovery: Engaging with B2B customers for feedback, understanding their needs, and ensuring product alignment with their expectations.
- Product Roadmap & Requirement Management: Defining and prioritizing product ideas, creating a clear roadmap, and translating customer needs into coherent product requirements.
- Data Processing Pipeline: Leading the product team in developing the data pipeline for geospatial datasets.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Ensuring team alignment across engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support.
- Performance Tracking: Establishing and tracking OKRs and product metrics to measure success and areas for improvement.
- Leadership: Mentoring junior product managers and fostering a collaborative environment.
Location
Our product team is based remotely across Germany and Belgium, with occasional travel to our offices in Freiburg, Munich, and Brussels. Remote working is supported for this position, though proximity to Germany or Belgium is beneficial for team interactions.
Requirements
About You
- Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Data Science, Geospatial Science, or a related field.
- Proven senior-level product management experience with data, cloud, and SaaS products.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing technical and design direction for large-scale systems and creating product roadmaps from conception to launch.
- Deep understanding of data pipelines and handling Earth Observation and geospatial data.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and ML/AI applications.
- Experience with product discovery, market research, and competitive analysis.
- Strategic thinking and methodical execution based on research, data, and market trends.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in product management processes and tools, with experience in agile teams.
- Leadership experience, with the ability to influence stakeholders and guide cross-functional teams.
